Midwife postnatal visits

Our postnatal package costs from £800 and comprises 10 hours of care with an experienced, professional midwife, post-birth over a three-week period, and one meeting pre-birth so that parents and midwife can get acquainted.

The package offers total flexibility to new parents. Clients usually opt for 10 x one hour visits, although the time can be apportioned in any way that suits your needs: one hour a day for 10 days, two hours a day for five, or distributed more evenly over the three weeks.

We tend to find that having the majority of the visits during the first week is the most helpful route, but we are happy to adapt to parents’ needs.

In addition to the home visits, the package includes telephone support from your midwife during the three-week period.

First time parents find this level of support can make the difference between being able to enjoy those precious first days, and feeling too overwhelmed to appreciate the wonder of it all. Those who already have a child also find our care invaluable, as life with two or more children is a very different prospect to coping with just one.

From experience, we recommend that first time mothers in particular benefit from this full package, particularly if breastfeeding support is needed.
